Data to Insight Center Center for Data and Search Informatics
The mission of the Visualization and Interactive Spaces Lab is to
research and develop novel interaction environments, especially
physical spaces for data visualization and information exploration.
Staff and students working in the Lab study innovative sensor-based
interfaces, including tabletop and multitouch surfaces, and their use
in a variety of application scenarios. The goal of this work is to
better understand how to support user engagement and information
exploration through non-tradtional interaction environments.
